Bukit Bintang City Center, Kuala Lumpur (BBCC)
Bukit Bintang City Center is a mixed development with shopping mall, Office, hotel, and residence. The project is located at the well-known former site of Pudu Prison with 19.4 acres land area in Kuala Lumpur.
BBCC is a joint development between Eco World Development Group, the Urban Development Authority (UDA) and the Employees Provident Fund Board (EPF). EcoWorld was then given the responsibility to develop the whole land as the development manager of the site.
GDP architects was appointed by Ecoworld as planner and architectural construction & design for parcel 1 to 5. The development was started on June 2017 and is partially completed during 2022.
Eco City, Kuala Lumpur
KL Eco City is a 25 acres integrated mixed with total Gross Floor Area of 5,545,000 sq.ft, located in Kampung Haji Abdullah Hukum. It is also a transit-oriented development by commercial offices, retail outlets, residential towers, and a hotel.
The key features for this project also include a rail hub, internal road system and pedestrian link, new access ramps and link bridges. The project was founded by SP Setia Berhad and GDP was appointed for project planning and architectural construction & design.
KL Eco City was separated into 3 parcels and the main development components of GDP Architects are Parcel B&C.
Menara IQ @ Tun Razak Exchange (TRX), Kuala Lumpur
Menara IQ a corporate residence development within Lingkaran TRX, Kuala Lumpur. With a built-up area of 555,419 sq ft, the tower is 33 storeys high and designed for MSC status. This project was designed for HSBC as new HQ also the anchor tenant. GDP was participated in building structure, façade design and interior design. The project was completed in 2021.
Illi Residence, Kuala Lumpur
Illi residence is a mixed development with Gross Development Value (GDV) of RM600mil that consists of 764 units of serviced apartment and 9 shop lots, within a 3.35 acres of land area located at Jalan Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. MAA Arkitek is appointed by Symphony Life Berhad as planner and architectural construction & design. The development was submitted on March 2018 and to be completed by 2022.
East Coast Rail Link (ECRL), Kota Bharu - Klang
The East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) (Laluan Rel Pantai Timur), valued at USD13.1 billion, is a planned standard gauge double-track passenger and freight railway link infrastructure project connecting Port Klang on the Straits of Malacca to Kota Bharu in northeast Peninsular Malaysia in a total of 665km at highest of 160km/h operating speed, connecting the East Coast Economic Region states of Pahang, Terengganu, and Kelantan to one another, and to the Central Region of the Peninsula’s west coast. The infrastructure includes spur lines, tunnels, bridges, viaducts, depots, stations, and a signaling system. The project began on August 2017 and it is planned to open to public on 2027.
The project has separated into 3 sections, Section A, B and C. Section A is handled by HSSI, Section B by HPDI & Siyuan and Section by FSDI. Malaysia Rail Link Sdn Bhd (MRL) as project owner and China Communications Construction Company Ltd. (CCCC) as the main contractor under Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Commissioning (EPCC) Contract. The main role of Siyuan in this project is lead consultant, which is responsible for the design coordination, research, advisory and evaluation for all 3 stretches of the project working with the project owner and project contractor.
